What exactly needs to be done to a RB25 to accomodate any miscellaneous functions?

Besides the clearance and mounting issues that is.

I'm sitting here pricing what it would take to fit an sr20det and modify it to 250hp, and pricing a stock RB25DET, and the finances are looking dangerously close. I was going to order my SR this week, but I'm having last minute jitters. ( this is the largest cash purchase of my life for me, ever. My car was only 1900 )

I apologize for the newb question, but this sort of question is kind of awkward to word in the search box, and it was hard to get a straight answer.
