so after 300,000 miles my ka finally spun a bearing[IMG][/IMG]

so then its time to rebuild

dont give me too much hell, I like black and red[IMG][/IMG]

good luck with the re-install, it shouldnt give you too much trouble as long as you did a decent job pulling it.

not feeling that ALL red though, and please ditch Fram oil filters, for the sake of your new engine

get a WIX, MAHLE, or MANN oil filter those are the absolute best

Holy red a thon. I suggest painting the head black. That, IMO, would look sexier. All that red is just bleh.

Congrats on teh rebuild, 300K is quite the achievement. I'm only at 210K on my 95.

As for the the color....

I think judgement on the color should be reserved until we see it in the engine bay. a black bay all around that thing might make it look really good.

Damn thats alot of miles haha, Clean not a fan of that many colors but clean if you like it! and yes FRAM ftl get at least a bosch. K&N if you can grab your balls.

i think we need to start a 300,000 mile club, j/k i do have 362000 on my O.E. 240, only clutch and starter replaced
