I would be way too freaked of spinning my car onto thin ice and sinking to the bottom of that cold *** lake. I dunno, I live in So Cal. so I rarely see snow.. about once a year when I go to the mountains to snow board. But, my dad who grew up in Minnesota (where it can get -30 and more below) said him and his buddies who drive out on lakes all the time like that.
