snow vs. window motor

So yesterday I go to the drive-thru, put my window down, get my food, and then my drivers window wont rise. So I tried the passenger and it went down about 4 inches and then it quit working. My only explanation is that snow fell into the door and fritzed the motor, or fell on my window switch and got that. Both windows are stuck down, and when I use the switch I hear a click like the motor tries to work, but no whirrr like its working but stuck.Anyone encounter something like this before? Also is there a way to pull my windows up if the motors wont work? Any help would be fantastic.

Check your fuses. Sounds like they are ok but check anyway. How cold is it where you are? Did the Window just literly freeze in the track? If you can get the car into a warm area try it then. Use caution trying to force the window back up as that can be very hard on the works.
