buffalo new york here, so random 6 foot snow storms each winter. in general the versa is pretty good with the snow, but beware of rutts on the highway, last year i was driving down the 400 and everything was going fine, there was about oh....5 inches of very dense and wet snow, everything was going fine, but i noticed that i could only be in one rut at a time given the size difference between me and all the trucks that had come before me, all was fine and well until i saw that there were suddenly 2 sets of tracks, and they swapped lanes.. i knew before i hit them what was gonna happen, so i looked over and ade sure everyone had there seat belts on tight. Then the versa gets ripped to left about 30 deg@60, and this is right before a nice long bridge, so i have to bounce it back and forth right and left for about a half mile until i'm passed any obstructions, and i spun it to the left and came to a complete stop parallel to the guardrails about 6 inches from the. As my passangers are still freaking out i roll down my to talk to the jeep that had watched all this behind me, "hows it going(me)" "not too bad, you guys all al right(him)" "yea were fine(me)""you did that pretty good, how old are you?"(him)"just turned 22"(me)"22?!?, how the hell(cuckling, and walks back to his car"My point being even if you get the versa out of shape you can get it back from the brink of disaster, just be calm and think about what your doing. IF you have to bounce it back and for for a lil bit to make sure you can do it safely DO IT, but that also said, if you knwo you wont be able to get it back, MAKE DAMN SURE you pick the lesser of evils, a mailbox is alot less damageing than a tree or a house
