hey, it first snowed here in NY and I'm not sure what I should use to brush off the snow/ice. I heard that you can't use brushes on a black, or any dark color, car since it scratches the paint. Is this true? Can someone recommend me what I should look into buying?

Thanks.

Dark colors, especially black tend to show scratches much more. You wont see a snow brush touch my car this winter. Most brushes are fairly abrasive in my opinion.

Take a look at this product...

Ordering one. We got some snow today but it was mostly ice actually.

And no, this doesn't appear to be able to break up ice. It simply pushes snow off your car with out scratching or damaging your paint.

So glad I don't have to worry about any of that! Too much work. I love being able to just get into my car and drive without having to move frozen water off it... I think I'm gonna go hang by the pool and work on my tan this week if it gets in the 80s... *puts on some sunglasses*
