Had the coupe for two winters now, with stockers on in the winter. Everytime I drive in the snow i have the same problem, besides the fact our cars are horrible in the snow. Snow builds up inside the wheel well and rubs against the tires. Can't be good for the tires and makes anoyying cabin noise. Also if I leave it overnight it freezes and takes forever to get rid of the following day. Now that the car is lowered its harder to reach inside and knock the snow out. You guys know what I'm talking about? any of you have the same issue? You canadian guys should have a better idea.

I will try and take pics to show you if you need but the snow storm is kinda over here in NY and I was to lazy to snap a pic the last few days.

Yup, I noticed that issue as well. Luckily I knocked it out before freezing. I can imagine a pita that would be!

Items you will need: Bucket, Soap, Sponge/rag, WATER!, & WD40

(w/ wheel removed, but not nessessary if you got skills with spray cans.)

1. soap your wheel wells.2. rinse your wheel wells.3. Let wheel well dry.4. Saturate areas where snow gets stuck with WD-40.(works well with mud too)

not only does it make ur wheel well blackER but the LUBE helps keep debris ie. snow from sticking. Enjoy!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

With stockers and aftermarket the snow just builds up in the corne by the wheele. It is a problem. I usually end up kicking it off before I turn the car on.

Living in Saskatchewan, -50 weather is normal. When snow builds up you really can't kick it off. Get some underground heated parking, works for me . Also I don't think our cars are that bad in the winter, there no AWD G35X but they get from point A to point B without getting stuck.

as for taking out a bucket and hose....the hose is frozen and under 6 inches of snow lol.

I used to just kick it out but its a little harder now with the less wheel gap. I can only imagine what its like in real cold weather considering NY gets snow every once in a while but thats noting compared to others on here.

I think the car handles so poorly because the stock tires on the 2.5 are terrible. Since you have a 3.5 you might have better tires.

Here's my solution...

...move south.

Seriously...less than a week ago I was sitting in the sand on Laguna Beach watching the sun set. Now, I'm in sub-zero temperatures and my coupe is covered with mud and snow.

In all seriousness, there's not a helluva lot you can do about it. Try and kick out as much as you can...maybe poke it out with a stick. That's the price you pay for living in a place that gets snow, regardless of what you drive.

Incidentally, the 2.5 is crap in snow regardless of the quality of snow shoes you're wearin'. It's only just slightly less-than-terrifying with proper winter tires...

This thread is cracking me up! Heels, how long have you've been living and driving in NY and only till now you've notice snow collects in your wheel well? Its a fact of life if you live in any of the new england states you're gonna get snow in your wheel well if you drive in....snow

you have two options at this point..either buy a another vehicle that's lifted so you don't have this problem or do what 93coupe suggested and kick the $hit out of it..besides, it's only snow

Yes. You are the only person to get snow stuck in your wells.

If I do a write up on how to kick snow out of your car's wheel wells can I have a custom title?

I had a 96 mazima for 5 years and never had snow build up to the point where it messes with driving. Let me get this straight...In order to keep the snow out I would have to pull over and kick out the snow every time. I am not a moron. I don;t know anyone who has the same problem. MY friends 350z builds up snow but it never gets stuck between the wheel well and the tires like mine.

also not everyone with the coupes are having the same problem

Flying snow has more to deal with your tire tread pattern than the car itself....

This. And it's just snow dude. Kick it out when you get to where you are going or before you head out on your trip.
