Well, my region is supposed to get some heavy snow in the next day or two, so I'm wondering, should I sweep off the snow off my top every once in awhile? Having my top collapse due to eight inches of snow on it would be terrible....should I worry or no? I'm thinking it won't hurt to sweep it off, just to keep the weight off...

thanks as always

Sweep it off! During hurricane Floyd it rained so much that the convertible top on my Infiniti M30 actually saged and had to be replaced (under my insurance) Don't let too much build up on it.

Might be a wise investment to get a good car cover as well - Save you some work!

Yup, I've had one for a little while now, most likely gonna put that on Tuesday afternoon when the snow supposedly starts coming.

(Grrr, my subject turned all weird...mistyped some text into there)

Not only do you not want the top to collapse, you don't want that stuff thawing and refreezing on there.

get a cheap tent and park your car in it.

yeah id throw a cover on it and sweep the snow off the cover too. the extra effort can save you alot of trouble and money. even with my car i brush it off as much as i can just so im not pushing 6 inches off everytime i need to take it out.

sucks that the parents cars get the garage, and my dads car has never seen snow or rain. so my car sits outside, which is fine, i get to wash it all off later in a heated shop, where it sits after i get all of the salt off, while i work.

Good one, Eikon.

Sadly, I had to put my headlights in the perma-up "winter mode" as of this morning. Frog eyes FTMFL.

The (fuse/motors/wiring) will burn out if they freeze in the down position and you try and flip them up.

Ah. I'll keep that in mind to refrain from flipping em up when it gets cold out here
