Well, IMO, Mad TV is LAME.Which is funnier to watch?

SNL is good.. but MadTV can get away with a lot more because fox is pretty layed back... Mad TV is funny because of the stuff they say and do.. Deborah Wilsons impression of Whitney is frigging reat, and Stephanie Weir plays the best old women in the world.. Also love Lorraine

SNL is way better than Mad TV, hands down. Although Mad TV has it's memorable characters, namely Ms. Swan and Stuart (my favs), SNL has so much more. Many of the people who started their comedy career started with SNL, and grew from their. You can't say the same for Mad TV. SNL was first, Mad TV can go kick themselves...

But the one thing Mad TV has over SNL, is the music. In SNL, they are previously taped performance, without an audience. In Mad TV, it's all live. Mucho awesome...

i cant beleive yo are even comparing them. snl has been around for what, 28 years? if you had been watching it back in the 80 you wouyld have seen the phenomenon it was back then. joeh n belushi was THE MAN. thougheach subsequent cast member has been less funny, mad tv cant hold a candle to SNL.<---slightly drunk

Mad TV just plain sucks most of the time. The live thing is cool, but most of their acts are awful. Stuart is funny for a few minutes, as is Ms. Swan (til I want to rip her head off), Lorraine, and Rusty. Will Sasso is decently funny, that's about all I give the show. Thus, my vote goes to SNL, despite the fact that I don't watch the new ones, I only watch the late 80s-late 90s stuff they (used to) show on Comedy Central (though that is now being replaced with Mad TV reruns, which angers me, because that's ALL THEY FRIGGIN SHOW on Comedy Central anymore). Chappelle's show, only seen like 2 episodes and they were better than every Mad TV ever, combined, and most of the SNLs.

SNL has become tedious to watch and out of touch. Mad TV is hysterical and out there like SNL WAS back in the day.

MAD TV ain't funny. It takes two hits of acid and a fifth of tequilla to make it even watchable.

SNL on the other hand, wins by virtue of Lindsey Lohan's rack....
