Well the process has begun. As soon as I get the car out of the body shop, these babies are going on the car. No more 4x4 action

On the JIC ad, back cover, Jan 2005 VIP Car magazine, they're bronze, exactly like that, but the Aristo (Lexus GS) ones next to them are bronze AND silver.

thats what i was talking about

flt-a2 VIP are bronze and silver, those are solid bronze

but now im looking through the japanese site and it looks like color depends on application

i never really payed attention to detail

all the japanese id seen were silver/bronze, all the us were solid bronze...learn something new every day i guess

i prefer Zeal anyway

either way thats a good start to any project

Hope ya gotta good connection over at Ziel Motorsports for rebuilds. I love my JIC FLTA2s when they are working good. Every year it seems like something goes and ends up costing a small fortune to get repaired. I wouldn't ever buy a used coilover suspension kit from Japan, getting parts for them is like waiting for a stalactite to grow 5"....

JIC offers SF1s for our G50s here in the states but I do not wanna run JIC stuff anymore after having so mannnny issues with their FLTA2s.

And BTW those are not FLTA2s, all FLTA2s are INVERTED and these are not. So its eighter FLTA1s or SF1s or something else they carry in Japan.

Endless/Zeal has much better customer service than like JIC or tein

anyway im really getting pwned with the whole attention to detail today, i just saw jics and said flt-a2's, ah well...

actually for my s13 i get KTS, no rebuilds needed, i can buy 4 brand new dampers and just swap the springs for about half the price it costs you to get them rebuilt

and theyre extremely good coilovers too

i know the Q shares a number of suspension parts with the Z32, but the coilovers wouldnt be one of them would they?

if so you could probably have z32 units dampened and sprung for the Q, itd be worth it

These are JIC SA-1. I actually got them from a guy in US. I know there are other brands out there, but JIC usually offers the lowest ride height, and that is a must have on a future VIP car. PLus the price I paid for these...can't beat it.
