When it comes to those questions that REALLY make you wonder if a person should be working on their car AT ALL - what are some of the most ridiculous questions you've ever heard? As a plus, and sarcastically speaking of course, what was or would your reply be?

Mine personal favorite (happened to me):

A boy comes into my old speed-shop and asks,
"What can I do for $50 to make my car faster?"

My reply was,
"Give me your money and we'll have it towed."

For free he could rip out the interior and remove the fenders, hood, and trunklid himself!

Not a stupid question, but an old boss of mine replied to the age-old cry of the dissatisfied customer,"I'm never coming back here again!" with "Well, I guess that will solve both of our problems."

^i'm quick to tell someone with an attitude, nothing at all, followed with, get out. It's the best response to solve a problem immediately. Especially with customers that love to make a scene with other customers in store, solely based off of, they have no clue how it works or how it functions. I don't know how Hardcore Pawn deals with it. Tsk Tsk.

This is just about unbelievable, but it's true. You know you have those friends that aren't really good at anything? Well I have one like that. One time he asked me if when you put a car in reverse, does the crankshaft spin the opposite way.... Seriously.

Eh, Dave's not a troll. He just plays one on the internet.

You can tell his heart isn't in it -- he's too helpful.
