I was just wondering if anyone else has this issue and has found the solution.

At slow speeds (less than 5 km/hr) my rogue makes a rotational clunking popping noise. The noise gets faster with vehicle speed and goes away completely after 5 km/hr. The noise seems to be worse when going up an incline slowly (like my driveway). The noise sounds like it is from the front, I previously tried replacing the RF cv shaft for this issue and it did not repair it.

I know there is a service bulletin to replace the electronic coupling on the rear differential - has anyone done this and does this repair this issue? I’m thinking that maybe what I am hearing is the transfer case when the electronic coupler is not working properly?

On my 2011 I had some noises coming from the rear end. Low speed popping, mostly when I turned left. I thought it was the sway bar bushings so I changed those out with no luck the noise was still there. So I changed the rear differential oil and that solved the problem. There is a write up on this site for a diy.
