Ok so I'm going on with the camera install, but I need to run wires to the thing. I'd like to do this through the trunk lid. Does anyone have pics/instructions on how do to this before I go re-inventing the wheel? I'm not asking for audio cable install, I'm trying to run a wire through the same channel that are in the trunk lid, all the way to the dash.

You're not reinventing the wheel here. Looking at the trunk, all the wires are ran from the left side. It's the only side that has a rubber boot which btw is easy to take off and put on. If you take out the carpeting off the left side you'll see the wires that come from the boot. You'll need a flash light to see the wires. As for the trunk, This is what I had to do when I switch trunk lids from OEM to CF. But this is from what I remember doing. Pop all the push clips off and take off the carpeting. I assume you'll want to mount the camera in the stock location. If so look behind where the trunk finisher piece is and you'll see it is held on by 2 long push clips that are yellow. Take a needle nose pliers and squeeze the clips in and push it through the holes I believe there is 2 nuts that hold it on too. I think they are 10mm. Take those off and the trim will come off and then you can see where you need to route everything. Good Luck
