What up yall. New to this board, car and engine, my 240 isn't even a week old yet but my plans for it stretch much farther back than that. I've got a bunch of stuff, but first, what characteristics will a turbo with an 80 (theoretical) trim turbine wheel and 60 trim comp. wheel have when compared to an 80 comp\60 turb wheel? And those characteristics would be roughly the same as swapping the a/r's of both sides similarly, correct? After deciding finally on a desired boost and airflow, does it make more sense to shift power upwards (or downwards) in the band by upsizing wheel trims or a/r's, or does it really matter? I've done plenty of reading\research, so don't worry about noob-izing for me. I'll ask if I don't get it.Also, does anyone know where to find a stock red-top t25 compressor map (bs or not, I'd still like to see one), preferably with the sr already charted? I've searched around more than half-assedly but not quite full-assedly; I guess it was a cheek-and-a-half search.

Oh yeah, thanx in advance.

Where I come from, double posting is posting twice in the same place. I could have just posted in general tech but I figured more knowledgable individuals would potentially see it this way. If I had posted in all SR, CA, RB, KA, and general, then I'd call it double posting. I only "double posted" after my original thread remained unreplied to, and by "double posting" it was eventually (thanx WDRacer). In short, thanx for contributing to the info I had previously, namely nothing.

wow...thanks a$$hole...no one here cares how it worked where you came from...

answers like that are stupid and are good reason for no one to answer your question at all...the CA18 community here is a close knit family and some of us take it personally when newbs come on here and bash our friends (like Xero)...

oh and so you know... posting in CA, SR, and turbo KA...all within afew hours of each other is double posting...moron :rolleyes

Pressure, did you just get a catheter put in or something? Cuz you sure seem to be in a bad mood. He was just telling you not to crosspost and put threads in a bunch of forums. You're new here, it (apparently) works different here than other forums you've been to, so why don't you try to be a little nicer to someone who's trying to keep you out of trouble?

he's got posts up on zilvia too :rolleyes the ironic part is that he posts a some-what intelligent and legitimate question but does something stupid like posting it a hundred times.

heh-- i just love there were so many posts to have the noobathon, but none to answer any of his questions.

Pressure, you question requires too much thought for me at this point. I will see if I recover anytime soon from being this lazy though!

As for the double posting, I encourage it, mainly because one who visits the CA board (like myself) will not necessarily visit the general area.

Sorry to lead even more off-topic.

Wow, so I'm the fresh meat now, huh? LOL You must not get too many new posts around here. I've got much to say but I'll save it. :icesangel Well, some of it.Crossposting and double posting are two different things. If Lord Xero had said something about not crossposting, I wouldn't have had a thing to say (or at least reply about). You'll excuse me if I give a **** about your "double posting" because I was not offensive whatsoever in the original post, and by "double posting" I finally got a response. How worthless would we be as a race if we never asked an unanswered question twice?Spectre, if the tone was different in Xero's reply, if I had a sense that there was even a hint of actual assistance, I would have had no response GUARANTEED. Instead it was God's annoyed voice booming down upon the lowly noob. Even a pm would have been acceptable, and that type of thing I expect from MODS.Sorry if I disrupted the CA mafia's orderly, calm, and peaceful environment. LOL I'll be sure to check out the Forum Owners' Association regulations before I post again. And if you're trying to emphasize my percieved stupidity then it would probably be more effective to do more than regurgitate Lord Xero's original remarks. :thinker Oh yeah, yall have a weak sense of humor, drumma excluded. Now see, how is it that I could possibly move back on topic when every reply thus far has been off? The touchy nature of the group above provides me with absolutely no info about the relationship between turbine and compressor wheel trims. So I don't want to hear **** about being off topic. (This is your cue to whip me for being off-topic)

you know whats funny, peopel who care this much must be online for HOOOOUUUUUURS. im not taking sides, i think both are a bit comical. in the mk1 turbo section of the mr2 forum, we just request him be deleted and bill strong does it:D oh how i love the mr2 forum...although...i do hang out here cuz i have a fancy for 240's due to Sean. fancy is a funny word. it can be used TWO ways...(ex) MY!! that is a FANCY dress you have on dear!!...or...In my own preference I FANCY a 7a sleeved block rather than the weaker stock form

p.s. whats up with "anime"...i mean, initial d is cool, but everything else seems pretty retarded, and pretty much any kid who watches anime you KNOW practices karate by himself in his living room when everyone else has left the house, then maybe the kid pulls a groin muscle, rethinks what they're doing, and goes back to the tv and watches some ebay purchased directly imported special edition anime movies.

woah, woah, WOAH!!!!!!! I just casually stated that double posting was frowned upon, after seeing this post in the Turbo KA forum. I remember that for the longest time there was a sticky about how double posting was frowned upon, so I had passed that info along since it is no longer a sticky.

since when did I become, and I quote, "Lord Xero"? (though I don't deny it has a nice ring to it, though I prefer the mad scentist, but that's another story :D) I have no control on what other members say, and I agree that some may have been out of line.

HOWEVER...I am not pleased at the attacks that you have brought upon me, and if you persist at these attacks, I will be forced to report this post to a moderator. Yes, that is a threat, and I suggest that you don't take that lightly.

ok, whoa, whoa... this is getting a little bit out of hand over a simple warning not to cross-post (double-post). Misunderstandings happen and obviously one has happened here. Could we maybe just forget this thread ever occurred?

if you find more info on it, plz post it up here. I want to know more about this too!

and yeah, Anime rocks da house! Don't be fooled by the crap they show on the cartoon network!! That would be like saying all racing sucks because NASCAR is boring!!! :P
