Smoking interior

I got a 90 240 that seems to smoke in the inside through the center ash tray. I took a look at the engine underneath, to see if there's any oil and after cleaning up the bottom and a week of riding nothing has showed up. It seems to smoke when I'm riding for a good while, while on high gear it seems. It doesn't smell like oil but I can't seem to find where it smoking from and I'm getting kinda tired of tearing up everywhere I go. Any help is appreaciated.

The rear transmission seal may be hurt, or you have overfilled the gear oil. Is this a 5MT car? Take your shift boot and rubber boot off the shifter, and see if the smoke comes from underneath the car. Also start tearing away at the interior and try to replicate the problem and see where the smoke comes from.

Yeah that's what I was plannig to do, It doesn't smell like exhaust smoke I'll see if i take apart this weekend. hopefully I won't mess anythig up.
