smoked taillights

i was wondering how do you smoke taillights. i saw this auction on ebay(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... RK:MEWA:IT) and wanted to get my taillights 2 look like this. if anyone knows how to do this just let me kno.thanx. peace.

Or tint film from http://www.lamin-x.com/, the plus side is they offer some rock/scratch protection too (esp. good for our headlights).

i know i posted in another thread about this once... its not hard... use that nightshades stuff... it turns out good and dependig on how many layers you can controll the darkness of the tint

Night shades is godly. buy it from sumitracing.com. 1 can is enough to do 2 cars. i aplied about 4 or 5 light coats on my sidemarkers and 3rd brake light, and 3 coats on my tail lights, leaving my back up lights clear. IT LOOKS GREAT!! and for only 15-20 bucks. i think i have some pics on http://www.cardomain.com/id/s13wannabdrifter but my car was dirty and the pics arent great.

I've tinted nothing but the amber turn-signal parts of my taillights. I did it the easy way and just painted the outside of the light w/ that nightshades paint, its good stuff. I need to take them back off the car and try and take them apart, paint the inside of them, then get the paint off the outside. But, I like the way it looks.
