Smoked Tail Lights

I did a search in NICOclub and found a guy who smoked his tail lights in his V but didn't post pictures of what it looks like afterwards really besides a close up on one..

Has anyone else done this to their Versa?I'm interested in doing it but not completely. I just want mine done a little bit so its still legal.

There is a tinted film that you can buy off of Ebay thats pre-cut to fit the V but I'm unsure of how dark they are and what it looks like.

Got a bunch of pictures on my site of the smoked tail lights that are painted on ones and Skunk has painted ones also and he has some pictures posted around here somewhere.

Has anyone seen a Versa with the lenses smoked except for the area where the bulbs are? I think it would look something GT-Rish with three single lights vs. 3 inside a big lense. I thought about doing this instead of worrying if I will get hassled by the police for a completely smoked lense.
