smoked headlights

anyone have any suggestions on whats best or what i should do to tint or [smoke] the lights on my 01 maxima se?

I believe a company makes a film you can put over your headlights for that tinted effect. (can't remember the name right now...I'll get back to you on that)

Other wise you could bake your headlights to pop off the glass and paint the inside of it black it will sortof give the same effect.

I'd go paint. I did mine on my 6th gen and they turned out great...

get the SE tailights and u can make them darker with overlays or nite shades. for the headlights u can paint around the reflector housings or u can do what I did and retrofit then black out the whole housing like jsmithsole suggested, up to u.

Couldn't you just use window tinting and put it on the outside? I did it to my 350Z reverse lights and it worked great. Never tried it on headlights though. Let me know if anyone tried this because I would like to consider it for my new 09 Maxima.

what color is your car? and are the windows tinted?
