ok the ca is big running and seems fast and all.. when it idles everything is perfect.. no noise or anything. but when i go.. at about 4,000 rpms, (or when the turbo spools) it smokes white smoke everywhere. i tried to locate where the smoke is coming from and my guess is around the turbo, around the o2 housing.. the turbo has no shaft play in it. was in good condition.. the o2 housing isnt bolted on good (you can see the gasket and through the pipe.. we just bolted it on good enough to hook the o2 sensor on) and i believe the hose clamp on the intake pipe that runs to the turbo isnt clamped on good because there is oil on it. (my guess is theres oil coming out of the loose clamp IF its loose and burning the oil off when the turbo spools) but this smoke ONLY happens when the turbo spools. i plan on looking at it very thougherly tomorrow. but any ideas from now till then would help! thanks guys! also when the turbo spools, there is no odd noises and it spools smooth.

Assuming the turbo is in perfect condition, how is the oil drain line from the turbo? If its too small or kinked it could be oil backing up in the turbo and forcing its way past the bearings.

Is this a completely stock setup, and if not what changes are there?

donno about the oil line ill check it today. the setup is stock other than a k&n air filter and blitz exhaust. im sure it has something to do with the turbo though..

Could be loose coolant lines at the turbo or could be just a turbo about to crap itself.
