Smoke - need second opion

Ok my car started throwing some oil smoke yesterday, mainly after I let off throttle, little when I drive normal, nearly none when in boost.

* New motor* New turbo* No loss of power

My gut feeling says its turbo, previous time this happened it was turbo.

Any opinions why, or what it can be the cause of the smoke?

How new is this new turbo? Sounds like it could be going out on you. I dont know what else would really cause smoke like that, especially if you say the engine is new.

Take off your O2 pipe and check for oil seeping out the exhaust side. If there is change it.

turbo was rebuilt about a 1500 mi back... along with the engine both ran without a hitch till now

Well yeah, I gathered that, but did you have the turbo rebuilt yourself at a reputable shop? Or was it purchased under the pretenses it was previously rebuilt? I have seen many, many people buy "rebuilt" turbos only to have them crap out a little while later. When I had the stock turbo from my car rebuilt the guy that did it offered me a one year warranty. You can bet I didnt blow that one up. Ive actually still got it, just in case.

no it was rebuilt by a mac I know, he has good rep, car is with him now again, looking into the issue...

The guys who rebuilt the turbo well they I'm not so sure off, they are supposed to be the best around, but I figured they do **** work when I found my turbo's core came loose from the exhaust housing that they aren't up to spec....
