smoke from block

i tried to install a k n n fipk and it started running rich, so i tried the ecu and disconnect battery for 57 hours and it dodnt help so i put the stock box back in and ive been getting smoke from the back of the block by the firewall since i put the k n n in. my guess is that the fipk didnt cause this, and i cant seem to find any disconnected hoses and it runs fine, it just has a burning oil smell, do i need new rings or something? thanks

is there any oil visible or touchable on the motor?

i think some oil somehow got on the exhaust mani, cuz the problem is gone now. thanks though
