So about 10 minutes after starting my car. I turned on the heater and I noticed that smoke was coming from the radiator. Although, I didn't see anything leaking. anyone know what the problem could be? if there is something wrong. is it under warranty?

was it raining outside or had you just washed it? It's too cold here to be outside washing mine so i took it thru the brushless carwash and my radiator steamed for about 15 minutes after the wash.

^^^ Good point. Are you sure this wasn't steam? How long did it last for?

Mine steams after the car wash. Perhaps after the car got up to operating temperature you had some moisture on the radiator.

I've gotten it several time, I think/hope it's just steam too.

Use your nose, if you smell coolant or metals than something's wrong. If not its very much normal. I notice some subtle steam smoke coming out of my grille on a rainy day as well.

If it smells like burnt sugar its coolant overheating and/or leaking from the rad cap most likely, but mine steams after coming out of the touchless as well.

Good to know im not the only one. I had this happen to me after a long drive in extremely rainy weather. It was an awesome trip from Hamilton to Brampton and I was passing everyone; RAINX is awesome! lol neways, when I got home and I parked my car, the radiator started smoking, like thick white smoke and I freaked out. I opened the hood and shut off the engine....it slowly started to decrease...but by this point I was so pissed because I've already had to deal wit so many issues, plus the fact that I had the radiator replaced for the very first repair due to leaky transmission fluid!...neways my father and I looked at it in the morning and couldnt see any leaks..started it up nothing.....took it to the dealership, they didn't find anything either. We thought a leaf or something got stuck in the radiator and burned off.....

Then, when my cousin and I drove home from New York in his new G37, the same thing happened to his car when we stopped at a rest stop. It was the same thing. So don't worry, as everyone said, its just water thats steaming off the radiator. As you can imagine I was quite relieved, but at the time it didn't help because the next morning I called my dealership and yelled at the service manager because I was pissed off....lol...I felt stupid and guilty, but with all the probs I've had you can't blame me for expecting something else went wrong!
