We bought a 2003 Maxima SE (30,000 mi) recently and I have noticed after a drive around town, maybe a half hour or so, the next time we start the car, after our drive, it sends a ploom of smoke out of the tailpipe. Looks to be white in color but has no smell. I verified the no smell part by starting it in the garage the last time. Anybody have any ideas?

White/grey with blue tint = oil, white only = antifreeze (usually has a sweet smell tho)

Check the oil to see if looks clear or if it is a bit milky looking. If so, you may have a headgasket going. Else you are getting oil leaking into a cylinder from somewhere.
