is there any way i can get a sr20 to pass smog in my 91 240 in californa i want to do the swap but i need it to pass smog any live in ca with the swap?

TWo ways I've heard of (never had to do it myself)

1) run the car lean with a new catilic (sp?) converter and pray.

2) Make a friend in that industry.

The car can sometimes pass on its own. A catalytic converter has nothing to do with the engine running lean, it will just decrease your hydrocarbons for the most part. The hard part in California is the visual inspection and they will never pass unless the inspector is an idiot or a greedy guy.

You can't pass smog unless you use a crooked or idiotic inspector, as Speed said.
