Is there a way to change the engine on a nissan 240sx 96 the KA24DEto the sr20det and pass smog in california or am i just goign to have to work with the one it comes with

I dont rly understand the question. There is a hook up on this forum, not saying its illegal since the guy passes SR/swapped cars legally, forgot his name but either way with an almost stock SR and a CAT I assume u could pass but idk, I dont live in cal.

ur better off searching. its blinking on the very top. SR's illegal in cali btw
