SMOG did not pass

Hey, I live in CA and had to go to SMOG check. They called me and said it failed due to my Stillen Z-Tube intake!!! WTF!!!They claimed that the state of CA has a list of intakes that will pass but mine is not one of them.

Can anyone help and let me know if you had that problem and how you've handled it?

I live in CA myself and just ordered a Stillen Z-Tube/cold air intake. Stillen site says its CARB pending, so its not legal in CA yet. So ill keep my old stock air box/filter for smog just have to swap them out. It sucks, unless u get a CARB legal sticker with your aftermarket parts its tough to get it by smog in CA :/

Wow. WTF is wrong with California? How is adding more air such an issue with emissions to them. LOL
