Can anyone tell me hows the smog check on this car? and Does the maintainance cost alot? Does the parts for this car cost a fortune??? DAmn IT! !! LOL Thank you all

Infiniti parts cost more than domestic parts, G35 tires and brakes are expensive to maintain.

All in all over the years [up to 150k] it should not cost more than the gasoline costs per mile................much less during warranty and same going to more after warranty.

Buying new these cars are targeted at those making $70,000-$100,000 per year. People without mortgage or other family expenses can obviously get by on less..........budget $750 to $875 per month depending on your State.

Infiniti, Lexus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, all cost within a few thousand per year to drive in the same engine size model versions

the parts alone are pretty pricy! front brake alone are about $77 rotors $117 and rear brake are about $55, now thats not including labor so it all depends on how much your dealer charges for per hour but trust me, if you go after market make sure there good stuff, if you go to like a pep boys or some jiffy lube liek that you'll be sqeeking in no time! so i would stick to the oem stuff cause i see people bring in there cars all the time cause there sqeeking from aftermarket stuff! good luck, hope you enjoy your ride!

The earliest G35's are barely going to have started going through smog tests as CA doesn't require them in the first 5 years of a car's life. I'm not sure where this carshop id getting their info. I'd question his source. I haven't heard of any smog issues with the G.

SMog tests in CA will require measurement of the actual emissions.
