Smog Check Help

Is it true????? I have a 240 with ka24e, but i want to swap is with a ca18det, but i heard i won't pass the smog check. what do i need to do. I also heard u can change a plate thats on the firewall of the car to a ca18det add that it wuld pass????? NEED HELP PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

use that big red glowing SEARCH button above. its been covered, its the same as SR and RB, they probably wont pass unless you slip the guy some cash.

Not a legal swap. Probably won't pass visual inspection because the engine codes won't match. Also, if they plug into the ECU at all, it won't work either.
