Who has removed it? I ripped mine out last night...much more room there now. Any problems related? Where do those lines off the bottom run?

It's just the gas evap. emissions container. Make sure you cap all the lines or you will have issues.

No adverse effects, just use some good'ol screws to cap the lines, theres like 4 or something.

No problems here. Agree with capping lines. Mine is laying in my room somewhere with the rest of my "Unnecessary parts,".

So are you guys just capping the fuel line? You know it's there to relieve pressure in the fuel tank...

What adverse effects would you have if you just let that fuel line vent into the atmosphere.... and what problems might you have if you capped it?

This smog canister right (below)?

If we can remove this w/ no adverse affects that would help me a ton (like someone else said, it's to relieve fuel pressure and evaporate the gases - I'm guessing so it doesn't build up too much and becomes dangerous in an accident or something?)

Mine is kind of just dangling around, I'm afraid it will hit the pulley belts later on.

**EDIT: well, apparently, I can't link to an image I attached for vacuum line questions from another post. Also, somehow I've lost the ability to attach an image for this thread even when I click reply... o well:

i just vented the lines that lead to the hard lines coming from the fuel tank.

all the other vacuum lines just need to be capped (coming from underneath TB area)

Anyway you can show me a pic of what should be capped & what should be vented? I'm a little slow/confused.

Just a regular rubber cap? do I need to get a tiny clamp for it?

Where are the lines that lead to the hardlines coming from the fuel tank?

Thanks so much, yea mine isn't going back either, haha, so it's best if I remove it completely.
