You have a different problem.

There is no oil source by the intercooler. It's purely an airbox. No mechanicl parts or need for oil. The oil that is dripping is coming from somewhere else.

Have you gotten under there and looked at it? Usually a side mount IC is the lowest point on the piping from the turbo. Is the oil running down from the turbo area and then dripping off the IC. If you see no oil running down the outside of the pipe... then you have oil on the inside as well as a leaky IC... two problems.

I'd put my money on the oil hitting the piping and gravity pulling it to the IC then dripping to the ground from there.

You could have bad seals in your turbo, bad connections from your oil lines to the turbo, or perhaps a badly leaking head gasket or valve cover that is actually spraying some oil.

You really need to trace the source of the oil... it's not the SMIC.

Good luck.. report back because I'll be curious to here... but the best place for an answer is probably the SR engine forum once you've inspected further.

It could be exactly what Eikon said and it could also be leaking from you power steering reservoir and running down in the wheel well or down you intercooler. Also check your oil catch can. It might be dumping oil back into your intake before the turbo. Best thing is to take off the turbo inlet piping and check inside and check inside the hotpipe to the intercooler.
