Ok im trying to figure out where the god damn thing goes i've tried to put it straight up and down but it wont fit vertical wont so any help is greatly appricated. Pics would be great also.

it fits angled, it faces diagonally forward with the two openings for the pipes up through the hole under the air box.

If looking at it from the driver's side wheel well, it should look like this.-----> \ With the top end tilted toward the front of the car. You like my pic?:D
