Smic install Help

Ok guys i SEARCHED MY *** OFF. I searched google Nico other 240 froums NOTHING. I need help on the smic. I know that it goes on the left side of the car infront of the left wheel. Like a web page showing how to run the piping and stuff would be great. Please no flames i'm new to the world of diy.

P.S. i have the simc and all piping needed.

If you search the internet you will find lots of stock SMIC pics.

just look at it, it'll kinda explain itself once you play with it. just shove it up in there and see where the brackets line up with bolt holes and where the piping goes through the tray under where the stock airbox went. and just an FYI cut out the raise part of that tray (the kinda teardrop shaped spot that already has a hole in it)

The proper cutout is in all 91- S13s.

I thought you said you have all pipings? How far have you gotten into installing that smic and pipings?

the piping i have the the throttle body is the wrong size.

OK guys im almost done the only thing that i have left is to make a custom cold pipe b/c the one that came with it is for the ca and i dont thing that i can run it b/c its so small. I've searched alot on this and just need some dimetions on the piping. I think that it Should be 2 1/2 piping just not sure how long.

Wrong size piping? Perhaps you're just missing the throttle body coupling that connects the cold pipe to the throttle body. I'd have to see a picture of your cold pipe to know!

Yep it definitely looks like you have a ca18det smic setup. The cold pipe is not the one also.

is there any way to make the ca pipe work or hack and saw my old ka intake and to make it fit???

The easiest from what I can see in the picture is to by an actual sr smic cold pipe or custom make yourself one.
