I have a question and maybe you guys can help. My car smells like gas especially on the inside. This has happened before but the problem before was obvious. It was the Fuel Filter & Pump Thing... Got that fixed and all is better. A year plus again I changed the fuel filter and pump again since i moved to a different climate. But It never leaked. I noticed the problem when i was driving at night and hit a dip at a good rate of speed because the city puts stupid @$$ dips at intersections. Well i bottomed out and slammed my car hard. Every since then i smell gas when i get near my car, and the smell is stronger in the inside of the cabin. I looked around the engine bay and underneath the car for any signs of leaks but i find nothing.

Any Solutions? Thanks in advance.

there are stainless fuel lines that run underneathe the car, so it is ossible you may have cracked one of them when you bottolmed out depending on how hard you hit.

Check around where the fuel pump goes in the top of the tank and see if it looks wet.

When I worked for a Nissan dealer I had a customer come in with a 95 240sx complaining about a gas smell. I looked at everything I could think of scratching my head and could not find the leak. I noticed on the 2nd day of dealing with this car the loser installed a speaker box directly over the tank in the trunk so I removed the box to find the Moran drilled sheet metal screws into his gas tank.

Check Ya'll, The Gas Smell was coming from the SUPPY and RETURN lines cause of old and cracking hoses.... All Parts(5 piece rubber hoses) cost $72 not bad then i got raped with labor charge.... 65 an hr totalling $335... I could have done that myself. My overall cost was $550 i needed a taxi there and back.
