I love that deer so much. Looks like USAA will be paying for the full stillen kit, as well as a few other items. (Color matching my fiberglass eyelids, installing the kit as well as guaranteed colormatching from this great bodyshop i found in white marsh).

Any other ideas I should take advantage of? I was thinking a CF hood but I'm not a big fan of CF...? The hood is smashed to s***, front drivers side fender, whole bumper, radiator, head light.

Any advice would be appreciated

Deer can reak havoc on any vehicle, no matter how big or small they are. As for your replacement part, what color is your coupe? and you must be the only person I know that doesn't like CF Anyway, CF looks good on particular colors like red. But the way I see it, if someone else is flipping the bill for parts and labor, I'd be going all out Good Luck

BTW,..you should post pics of the damages so we have a baseline to go from when you post up pics of the new and improved

How is it possible your insurance company will let you get a way with non-oem parts? Did they not send an adjuster or ask for pictures of proof? Are they just going on what you tell them you had on vehicle prior to accident?

No. It's pretty simple they send out an adjuster to see how much damage was done. They then cut a check for whatever amount they determine it will cost to fix. It is up to me to either use that amount to put oem stuff on or go with aftermarket parts

Oh and don't worry I will get some pics of the before and after.

There must be two of us, because I hate carbon fiber too.

CF looks good when it contrast the base color complimenting it.

...but that's not the reason why I came in this thread. You are not the first to read of who gets aftermarket after accident. My question is how do insurance companies pay for aftermarket parts such as this front end ? From an insurance company point of view would be the part costs less than stock and since they are charging you a deductible that would be the profitable way for the company to ensure profit, yet I am not sure that is the truth.

Front fascia- STILLEN (Great choice ) However, you will want to remember to order the bumper support brace. I'll bet that deer did a number on the factory brace and it is required in order to support the STILLEN fascia. If you don't have it, your fascia will look like a 65 year old...Gravity is not kind to a nice grill!

Fenders- Extreme Dimensions has a very nice set of fenders. I would highly recommend them. They look fantastic and from the photos I have seen their fit and finish was very good.

Headlights- You have to go with some projectors or halos or something cool. No point in replacing with stock parts.

Radiator- Unfortunately right now there are no aftermarket high performance radiator's otherwise i'd suggest going with an all aluminum option.

In regards to the insurance repair work, we have this situation all the time. It is actually pretty common for the end user to replace the O.E. parts with our body work. Realistically the insurance company doesn't care what you put on the car, they just have to pay you for the cost of the damage.

I was under the impression there were no projectors available? I found some Halo headlights which I was thinking about getting...

EDIT: Halo Foglamps, but apparently they are to replace OEM fog lamps which I obviously wouldn't need if I have a stillen bumper. I am going to look into something like Dangeris has...

One question I do have regarding your fascia. I would prefer to have the upper grill part without those 3 cross pieces. Just an open grill with mesh behind it? Is that possible or would I need to pay my bodyshop to cut those pieces out and fab it themselves? I don't see it being too much work really...? I just like the look of an open grill with mesh vs. those 3 pieces on the stillen fascia.

Hmmm, maybe right when you hit it, it flew away somewhere, but left one of its leg hanging in your bumper.

oh- and keep in mind- i LOVE extreme dimensions- (they made my last body kit) but i agree- thier fenders have fitment issues. and also - altho they look cool, the fenders are a huge part of ur crumple zone. and the f.glass ones just crack and shatter. u should think about that too....
