Smartphone mount

I am trying to put a smartphone mount on the 2015 rogue dash (soft touch) right over the air vents in the center. Tried 3 different mounts and none of them manage to stick, guess it's because the dash is soft touch material and may be the mounts need something firmer.

Anyone's been lucky with this?

I've been trying to find a Canadian supplier for a mount that uses the CD slot. This would put it close to the desired location at the vents in the case you're describing. These same mounts apparently fit in tight seams as well so I was thinking either the CD slot or in the vertical seam to the right of the center display.

Just picked up the new iOttie One Touch 3 and it comes with a pad that sticks to the dash on your Rogue and then you mount your One Touch 3 to it. Loving it so far and no problems.

Just picked up the new iOttie One Touch 3 and it comes with a pad that sticks to the dash on your Rogue and then you mount your One Touch 3 to it. Loving it so far and no problems.

The newer versions are def better due to the use of the gel pad that allows it to be removed and placed anywhere unlike the cheap 2-way tape ones.

I have this one in the rogue for my wife and its mounted to above the passenger glove box on the cf type of trim Angeled at the driver and it works absolutely awesome
