You have to go to the dealer, Unless a nissan dealer can do it for cheaper.

My dealer did it for free.

I went to a local Nissan dealer. He did it for $40 US. Nissan might be less expensive than an Infiniti Dealer.

Unfortunately, no longer a Nissan or Infiniti, but continuing here at NICO!

Remember to have all your fobs with you ... they all have to be updated at the same time. A friendly dealer ought to do it for free ... but some will charge.

So some Nissan dealers will reprogram an Infiniti Smartkey? I've called a couple local Nissan dealers in LA and they just referred me back to Infiniti dealers saying they can't do it. Odd..

I just called around and the cheapest I found was $85, the highest was $110. I called nissan guys too and I asked why they wanted $99, He said the new fobs with the key inside needs to use a different machine called an OBD3 and it takes about an hour. He said the old fobs were easier and they charged $40.

Anyone know of someone in the Philly area that can do this for cheaper?
