I have the smart key for my V and it has died...It won't lock or unlock, it wont even start my car. I've been having to use the "regular" key.
Any Ideas on what could be wrong...battery possibly?

Yeah, the wifey has the second key and I just tried it out and its working fine.

The battery in my smart keys lasted about 30 months before going totally dead. The smart key light on the dash should have flashed green to let you know the battery is low.

That's weird. Mine just died yesterday. My green light flashed in dash for all of one day, and now my key is dead. It's been since September 27th of 2007, so I guess not that bad, but still disappointing battery life.
