Smart key and illuminated kick plates

I remember reading about the G37 having a smart ket w/push button start, but dont see that in any package or standard feature. Anyone?

Also, anyone know what will the illuminated kickplates look like?

Hey Cochese, welcome to the NICO forums! The intelligent key system is standard with all G37s and pretty much all Infinitis. The illuminated kickplates I believe have the same "INFINITI" but they light up... blue? I don't know what the color is but I know on the Lexus IS350, the illumination is blue and "LEXUS" is what is illuminated.

Yeah, i was just wondering if they would say G37 or if they would say infiniti, either way I'm sure they will look cool.

They should at least mention the the smart key as standard equipment, its a nice feature.

Hey, all of this "port" stuff is easy enough for them to add on at the dealership, right? The illuminated kick plates intrigue me, but I'd really want to see them first to ensure I'm not looking like I'm part of "Fast and the Furious." I'm 34 with two kids after all...

AFAIK, the illuminated kick plates are aftermarket so you can possibly add it on later.

The illuminated kick-plates are embedded in the door frames of the car. Only visible when you open a door. They look pretty cool actually, nice accent without looking too pimped out.

They definitely should be able to be added on. This doesn't seem like something that would be factory-installed only. The actual option of adding the illuminated kickplates are there. It's separate.
