Has anyone else had an issue with their Smart Entrance control unit? I bought my car used and have never been able to use the remote lock, the power lock button on either the driver or passenger side or lower the passenger side window with the driver side switch. From what I can tell looking at the tech manual all those problems seem to share a common source with the smart entrance control unit. Before I drop $400 on a new unit, I'd like to know if anyone else has a resolution for these problems and if I might be missing something small like a hidden fuse or circuit breaker.

Thanks in advance!

I'd start by checking your connections. Sounds like your driver side controls themselves may be to blame. Remove the door panel (covered here) and make sure that control module is connected. If it's not, it may be faulty.

I tried replacing the control switch and the same thing was happening which makes me think it's the ECU. Plus the door lock switch doesnt work on either side, and when I lock the door with the key, only the driver side door locks.
