I am having an issue where the "Smart" cruise control will back off when approaching a tractor trailer rig in the next lane. It doesn't do it all the time. I have tried setting the sensitiviy to minimum and staying well to the left in my lane when approaching, but no help.
Is anyone else having this issue?

I found my owner's manual and apparently it is being caused by the side mounted reflectors that big rigs have on their trailers. Only solution is to keep your foot on the skinny pedal when passing one.
