On my friend se-r (...turbo pretty nice really) I notice his condensor is pretty small compared to my 93 hatch, so I was wondering if I could use a smaller a/c condensor from another on my 93 hatch? I ask because i really have no room for my intercooler in my front bumper and there is no way (NO WAY!!) im gonna cut the bumper support, so if I could use a smalle condensor and get it the hell out of the way that would be great.

If not I might just change the front bumper...although im broke right now, so in reality I'd probably be driving around with out A/c for a while. Damn this florida and its 2 seasons(hot and rainy)! THANKS

if you're not going to run the mechanical fan, and if you're going to play with your AC system nesseitating possibly custom pipes and a recharge anyways, might try just making some custom brackets to move the whole condensor / radiator assembly further towards the engine.. there should be plenty of room..

I wouldn't put the condensor behind the radiator, at that point you might as well remove the AC..

How big is the intercooler, you shouldnt need to move or get a smaller condensor. The greddy kits all you need to do is trim the bumper support a little but most remove the whole thing.

Yeah, I dont want it behind the radiator just not so much in the way of the intercooler. I dont have a greddy intercooler I did want one or the NPR but couldnt find a greddy one for a price within my budget but I did get one off of ebay (I forget the companies name) for $250 which is a bit big like maybe 2-3.5 inches wide maybe even 4 and about 22 0r so long (inlet to outlet) and about 12-13inch long (top to bottom). I really need to get a digital cam this would be so much easier.

I guess a custom bracket that would move the radiator and condensor back a bit more towards the engine maybe my best option, since I will be running electric fans. Once again thanks Nismo and biosehnsucht.

Measure the core thickness then get back to us. 4" thick is like a Supra/Skyline core.

The core is 3inches and from outlet to outlet is 24", and from the top to the bottom is 12" (these are exact).

I dont see how it interferes with the ac cond.

I took a measurements not too long ago of the opening I have to play with for an intercooler and so it wont interfere with bumper support or ac cond. Those are about the same.
