Well Sad to say that the car is no longer a V8. Vg is back in, runs great, and has a few upgrades, although I still dont have a driveshaft or exhaust. So thats what im working on. and ive been balls into the altima for some reason lol.
Heres the crap part. I was driving the car home from getting the exhaust made, for the smallblock, and I had a rocker nut decide to loosen up, and the rocker kicked sideways, and the pushrod came up, and the lifter popped out as well.

I ended up with a bent pushrod, and cam. It was hard to get it out, I was able to slide a fresh cam in and out and spin with no issues. So I need a new cam, cam bearings, and lifters. Bottem end is beautiful, I was luckey there.

What did you do for headers?
Did you spend most of the budget on upgrades or what?
And now that it's complete, what would you do differently?
How hard was the wiring?
K, I'm done for now.
Driveshaft cost $200 to have made. Took my stock 2pc. and a old camaro ds with the correct yolk, he cut my z shaft and didnt end up using it, so thats why I have no driveshaft now.
For the headers I bought a set of hookers, they passenger side cleared, but I had to cut up a block hugger header and some 3in. pipe to work around the steering on driver side. also had to make an oil pan.
most money was spent in the motor and machine work.
What I would have done differently are some 3/4in. subframe spacers, would have made a little more up and down clearance. And would have done a T56 trans rather than an auto th350. But that would have been another grand.
Wiring was very simple, Hei chevys very easy.
I took it out becuase I was tired of working on it. Although I was driveable, It still had qutie a bit more work to do.
I shoulda put the money into some coilovers and wheels and tires, and nitrous.
It was pretty sweet though.
