bored so im posting what i did today!any question's? or want more/better pics lmk

removed inner tie rodadded 3 washers(to each side) from ace hardware and a buncha thread lock!much more steering angle! for $10

q45 rotor compared to stock

thickness comparison

all bolt on very good upgrade! was very pleased with the $90 i spent on the (pads, rotors, callipers, fluid)

Not too sure if that extended steering angle is safe but good idea, are you 5 luggin in the rear?

Curious as to how you managed to snag the brake upgrades for $90. You know a guy who knows a guy? That's a steal to be able to replace all those, more info please.

nope 4 lug front and rear

+$30 used q45 callipers on craigslist+free used (good condition) brake pads+$60 new q45 rotors from autozone=$90

thanks!got it for $70 lolhaha my frinns all told me as long as i have half the threads i should be good!drove it around today with no probs=]

That was my concern too, but at least you are our guinea pig I might be doing that Q45 brake upgrade when I come up with some cash.

It has been sooo long since I have looked at a OEM inner, but I know the Tein tie rods have 10mm spacers that you can add to do the same thing, and IIRC, the threads look the same length as in his pic with the spacers installed. The inner rod does not take that much force, so I think you should be just fine.

Good price on the Q brakes!!! I got mine for $95 + shipping new of eBay, but then I had to shell out for rotors and 4 lug machining. Sounds like you got a steal!

that's a good price for those brakes. i got my r33 brakes for $200! it's not a bad price but...$90 dang..

i just took a drill and a 1/2inch bit and used my old rotor as a guide lol it was really easy redrilling the rotors myself!! haha we'll see how they do on the track today
