So i was washing my car yesterday and ran into a pretty stupid problem, i picked up one of the rags i was using to buff out a spot of tar or something and after i was done i noticed some really small scratches around where the spot use to be, so i looked at my towl and noticed some really small pieces of sand or something in it. So i guess what i did was really stupid and annoying but i scratched up a little spot on my front fender and although its not very noticable in the right light or at the right angle you can see it pretty well........or at least i can, but i was wondering since these scratches are so small is there any way to fix them easily or buff them out, they probably only go threw one of the layers of paint if that so i dont think touch up paint would probably work. So does anyone have any suggestions or ways i could fix these scratches?

sometimes if the scratch didn't go through the clear-coat,you can wax it out or use rubbing compound...the samething happend to my Z and since its the San Marino Blue color, you can notice each and every single scratch and the 2 dents it has....

Here are my thoughts to repair that area ( I only use Meguiars products):DO THIS IN THE SHADE ;-)1) wash the area very well with car soap, warm water and a microfiber cloth2) dry the area well with a clean (lol...) microfiber cloth3) use the Quick Detailer spray and go over the area4) apply the Cleaner Wax, let it dry and take it off all using microfiber material5) apply the Swirl Remover Wax, let it dry and take it off all using microfiber material6) apply the Wax Paste, let it dry and take it off all using microfiber material

You are done!

This process will remove about 90% of clear coat surface marks. I have used this process many times on many cars with outstanding results.

Please let me know if you still see marks and I can step you through the next process.

I use one more Meguires product. Scratch X. It takes two, maybe three applications, plus apply wax when the scratches become less noticable.
