if you WANT oil around your clutch and flywheel... just a q, but have you changed what oil you have been using for any reason? ex: if you ran synthetic on your motor and switched to natural...expect it to leak. after my brother got his sr, we found out that the previous owners used natural oil. so the synthetic just poured out.

I think that might be it, I was running Mobil 1 full synthetic and switched to Castro SYNTEC, I remember their saying something about being part synthetic.... I'm going to do an oil change and switch back to Mobil 1 just to be safe.

I dunno where this came from, I've never seen it for myself. Oil shouldn't just leak past a seal for no reason, unless the seal is bad and your filthy oil is simply acting like a clog, or scab if you will. Then the switch to a really good synthetic removes the debris.

What weight oil are you using? Syntec is fully synthetic by the way. I have always run 20-50 Syntec or Mobile 1 in everything to include to Skylines.

I'd try a heavier oil if you're using a light weight.

Boosting isn't going make your leak better or worse at this point, unless you have serious blow-by and you're pressurizing the crankcase.

I have always run 10w30. I had my rear main seal changed about 6 months ago but until last week it was fine. It's leaking a VERY small amount and the engine has no blow by.

I'll look into 20w50. Thanks
