Alright I have all my wiring done. The only thing I dont't get is the brown wire for the O2 sensor power. It says to hook it up to any 12v switched source. Now do I hook up 12 volts to the brown wire in the harness or one of the 2 brown wires on the plug???? Here is what I mean..
The plug has 2 brown wires on it, than there is just a single one coming out the harness.
And also is there supposed to be a bunch of wires on the ecu plug that don't go anywhere?
There is that little group of wires that are just cut and taped together??
Small question regarding harness wiring
The one wire coming out of the harness is the one you need to connect to a 12V source. Hooking up the other two isn't gonna do **** because that aren't connected to anything.It looks like the extra wires coming out of the ECU are the ones typically left over like fuel pressure module, that's the red/white one. If you really want to know what the others go to (went to) you should match them up with the chart on this web page:http://sr20det.nismo.org/srtech.htm which you should have already.If you have a standard transmission you will have wires left over that went to the auto box.Are you doing air conditioning? If not you will have wires left over for that.
Cool thanks. I had checked what those wires at the ecu were just wanted to make 100% sure they didn't need to be connected. One other thing, at the ecu wiring there is a blue wire with white stripe that comes down through the harness to the ecu plug but isn't connected into any of the terminals on the plug??
