Hey everyone,I searched =] my Optima redtop battery took a crap on me, so Im in the market for a new battery. I would like to get a compact design, because I plan to turbo in the future, which will include of course A Front mount Intercooler, and the piping will be in the way.. Basically, I need to know if the compact performance batteries, such as Gennesis, Oddysey, Westco, SVR etc, are as strong and put out as much power as Optimas etc...also, do they last as long as regular batteries?

P.p.s. Do the IAP kits make you relocate the battery, because of piping? I looked on the website, and it didnt say anything about it in the Online Instruction manual...Florida? Geo? All help is greatly appreciated!

no, IAP does not require you to move the battery. the coldpipe runs up along the radiator and fan shroud

the small battery would be fine, but you could always move the battery to the trunk. you just need a battery box ($12 from parts store) and some power cable for stereo systems

Well, if the IAp kit doesnt make you relocate the battery, then ill probably just get a Optima redtop again, because of the kickass warranty...
