small leak

I have a very small leak. The leak looks like oil and grime not coolant. It coming from the passenger side lower between the engine and the belts. Is this were the water pump is. Can a small leak like this not make for a good pressure seal and cause the car to run hotter than normal.

Could be the seal (o-ring) around the cam/crank sensor. Whichever one is there in the timing cover. I think it's the cam sensor. Anyways, take it out, take the o-ring off, get a new one, and put it all back together. Shouldn't take you more than about 15 minutes.
