Boy, its nice to know I can always return here. Nice to read the posts and replies again. My 92 Active G50 is telling me she needs some TLC. So, I better listen to her, Huh?

1) I seem to be losing brake fluid somewhere. It never leaves any drops on the driveway, but I seem to have to add brake fluid atleast once a week.

2) The steering seems to be loose when I turn my steering wheel It just doesn't seem as tight as I am used to. And often times it won't return to the same position. It seems sometimes my steering wheel will go from being perfectly horizontal to about 10 degrees off. yet I am traveling perfectly straight. I know my allignment is slightly off too. Hmmm

3) When I press on the accelerater pedal. it seems to stick. Causing me to have a little "jerk" as I accelerate.

Other than that, Keiths, recharged accumulators are giving me a smooth ride and chain guides are working awesome along with the transmission cooler thats to my friend here. Thanks again! I look forward to reading your thoughts

Hey man, glad to see you're still around!!!!

1. Check from the MC. Seems like older Qs like to leak right there.. Check if you can see fluid dripping donw the booster and onto the frame...

2. Steering rack bushings are most likely shot.

3. Might try cleaning the TB and greasing the accel cable.

Check source of fluid to identify it as brake, ATF, PS or active fluid.

I'm not sure if the updated design of ABS Actuator (better seals) were incorporated by 1992, but you might also check in that area...

Ditto with Wes on the rack bushings... I would check the outer tie rod ends too.

Thanks for the replyare the steering rack bushings something I can do myself. If not, how much can I expect to pay my mechanic? I've changed my tension rod bushings myself as well as some other suspension parts.

But realize the steering rack bushings are not going to solve any leak.

Time to drop the shield and look under the car. When's the next oil change?
