Got two issues I want to take care of.

1. Seems as though I got some moisture in my left brake housing. Just noticed it today after getting a carwash. Might have been the carwash, or rain. It's been raining in NC from Sunday night - Thursday night. Thursday had the worst rain out of all days. Lots of rain windy, it was bad! Even my roof started leaking in my house. All that moisture all those days soaked everything up and Thursday just came with constant heavy rain morning - night to finish it off! Anyway, just wondering if the condensation in the housing will eventually go away, not sure because i never had this problem before. Will it eventually go away? Not trying to buy another one. If not, I could always take it out and see if I can find where the moisture is entering.

2. I randomly noticed this a couple of months ago. Its really bothering me especially since its on the drivers door and I'm forced to look at it every time! I have a feeling this wont be cheap to fix. That is one piece that goes around the whole door. Any idea where I can get one online for cheap? If not, I could always go to junkyard.

Thanks in advance for any input, advice or answers.

Drill a super tiny hole (1/32) at the very bottom of your reverse light. The condensation will go away in the next couple of days. I had the same thing on my whole left brake light, drilled it, its never happened again for over a year so far. The hole will be so small you'll never see it, and you'll forget about it all together like I did, until I saw your pics.
The hole will be too small to let water in, but large enough for air circulation to relieve the built up condensation.

For the foam...i dont know, that sucks. You might want to get that taken care of somehow soon, it looks like it would allow for water to leak inside.

The weather strip is about $140 from Infinitiparts. Easy to install.

Splix,
If water got into the housing, isnt there a way the water got in? Wouldnt that same way the water got in allow air circulation? I would have to see if I have a .03" drill bit before I do this.

Thanks Dean. The strip doesn't allow water to get into the car, but simply an eye sore. If only I had a black car.

Thanks again.

140 bucks for the weather strip! man! how is it that this car is BB for about 15K, but if you add up all the parts it's probably 30K!?

That's where the money is. Center console $2,600, complete front seat assembly, $3,150 EACH. Probably have at least $15K in the interior alone.

I thought the same thing, but after weeks of it not clearing up on its own, I got tired of looking at it.

Pricing is similar for replacement BMW or Mercedes door seals. Remember that these are $40,000 to $60,000 vehicles not too long ago...

This. You can't compare the cost of brand new OEM replacement parts with the blue book on a used car... a more accurate comparison would be a used part from ebay or the junkyard to the KBB. Or new OEM parts to showroom price on your M.

Splix, I was dreading having to take the tail light off and drill a hole underneath but it all disappeared! good....

Raleigh here... I get to charlotte a few times a year for car shows & such.

Actually I just wrecked my Y34. Beat up the passenger side pretty good after sliding on ice. Doubt it's totaled but it's going to be a long time in the shop & finding parts will be a nightmare.
